Start the day sporty start to the day: together with Paula from the Engstligenalp mountain railways you run the varied EngstligenUp trail running route from the valley station valley station "Unter dem Birg" up to the Engstligenalp mountain hotel - past the impressive impressive waterfall and through the stunning mountain landscape. In the foreground The focus is on the shared experience in nature. The pace yourself - whether individually or together in a group. The informal running group offers the perfect opportunity to start the morning actively together morning and experience the Engstligenalp on foot.

The offer is free of charge. No registration required for the trail run. Just come along - Paula will welcome you at the valley station.

The run only takes place in dry weather. Information about the event will be posted on engstligenalp.ch/events by 5.00 pm the day before.

• Meeting point: Engstligenalp valley station at 07.30 am
• Duration: approx. 45-60 minutes (depending on your own pace)
• Equipment: trail running or running equipment, water
• Distance: 2.5 kilometres, 552 metres in altitude
• Conditions for participation: good health and fitness are required. Accident insurance is the responsibility of the participants
• Miscellaneous: Cloakrooms/showers available at the mountain station (luggage can be sent up if required)
• Optional: Engstligen breakfast at the mountain hotel from 07.30-10.00 for CHF 24 per person. The ideal refreshment after the ascent.
