Among the Merlot vines destined to become our Ascona Riserva, an evening awaits those who appreciate wine, fine food and open-air conviviality. A dinner set in the vineyard at sunset, thoughtfully designed to let you experience the estate from a different perspective.
The Aperitif
The evening begins with an aperitif created by
Mattias Roock, Executive Chef of
Castello del Sole (1 Michelin star, 18 Gault Millau points). Seasonal creations will accompany the first glasses.
The Risotto
Our signature violet
risotto with beetroot and sun-dried tomatoes will be finished on site by Enrio Micioni, complemented by porcini cream, Pecorino del Saliciolo fondue and a subtle woodland touch.
The Main Course
The highlight of the evening is a
double entrecôte of Swiss Limousin beef, dry-aged for 40 days, served with Cantina alla Maggia wine reduction. Accompanied by grilled vegetables from the Magadino Plain and
Terreni alla Maggia polenta, it will be prepared live on an OFYR grill by the meat sommelier of Dry Aged Factory.
The Dessert
A refined sweet creation by the pastry team of
Castello del Sole will conclude the evening.
The Wines
The menu will be paired with a selection of
Cantina alla Maggia wines chosen by our sommelier Antonio Pischedda.
The Music
Guitar by Ricky and the voice of Agata from
La Lavanderia della Musica will provide a subtle musical backdrop.
Aperitif from 6:00 pm – Dinner from 7:00 pm.
