1) Basic policy for the handling of personal information
In principle, you may visit our online store without disclosing any personal information. 2.3 If payment is made via PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal, or, if available, “on account” via PayPal, we transfer your payment details to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter “PayPal”) as part of payment processing. For the payment methods credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal, and, if available, “purchase on account” via PayPal, PayPal reserves the right to conduct a credit check on you. PayPal will use the results of the credit check to determine the statistical probability of default in order to decide whether or not to provide the respective payment method. The credit report may include probability values (also referred to as "scores"). Where scores are included in the credit report, these are calculated on the basis of a scientifically recognized mathematical/statistical method.
