The Chant of the Invisible – Introduction to Overtone Singing

Saturday, 22/11/2025 09:00
In the context of the exhibition  "Mongolia – A Journey Through Time"

This workshop introduces participants to the art of overtone and throat singing, exploring the hidden harmonics of the human voice through simple exercises and collective chanting. Alongside practice, Alessandro highlights the syncretic links between Mongolian, Tibetan, shamanic, and ancient European traditions, showing how sound connects spirituality and culture. Live demonstrations with Celtic harp, frame drums, or the Chinese hulusi enrich the experience with musical examples. Open to all levels, the workshop offers both practical exploration and syncretic cultural insight.
