By means of clear explanations, participants learn about the impressive properties of the solar system and the universe. Professionals from the Astroevents association explain the astronomical concepts with the help of easy-to-understand models. In the practical part, interesting information is provided about the constellations, while the stars and planets can be observed through several professional telescopes.
Topic on March 28, 2025: The colonization of space“We should become an interplanetary species”. Such or similar statements are being heard more and more often. But it has been more than 50 years since the last human set foot on the moon. With the Artemis program, the goal was set to bring people back to the moon before the end of the decade. In the longer term, the plan is even to build a manned station on the moon that could serve as a stopover for missions to Mars. What makes the colonization of other planets like Mars so exciting, but also so difficult?
At the event you will also have the opportunity to take an unforgettable look through the Gurten Observatory
