The tours of the Gurtengärtli with experienced biodiversity experts will take you into the splendor, beauty and dynamics of a natural garden. Let yourself be carried away into a fascinating world of plants, crawlers and minerals that appeals to all your senses. Learn and experience how the garden can combine the aesthetic with the useful, what strengthens plants, how important a healthy soil is and how a natural system works in cycles.

There will be time to observe and reflect together. 

Gärtli-Tavolata at Gurtners Restaurant
What do I do with sorrel? Which native herbs go well in a vegetable dish? 
On the days of the event, garden manager Alexandra brings a day's harvest to the Gurtner family kitchen. The creative chefs prepare a tasty, surprising tavolata from it, served at Gurtner's kitchen table, where ten of the garden tour participants get to experience the Gurtengärtli from the culinary side. In addition, the chef shares his thoughts on the dishes served.
Due to the harvest, the dishes are of course mainly vegetarian. However, the kitchen also has the freedom to serve the dishes with meat. Let us surprise you!

The program is aimed at adult participants. For younger guests there are accompanied garden afternoons every Wednesday and Sunday afternoon.

7 p.m. – 10 p.m.: Gärtli-Tavolata in the restaurant Gurtners

Language: The garden tours are held in German.

The events take place in all weathers. Tickets cannot be refunded due to bad weather. Please wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes. Prices do not include the Gurtenbahn (GA/Libero/Halbtax valid).
