The Gurtner family cooks and enjoys with passion. True to the motto "Good things made with love", the family creates a symbiosis of purist dishes and wines pressed with love. Gurtner's wine journey is not a classic Wine & Dine, but an event that brings you closer to the fascinating topic of wine with matching dishes in Gurtner's living room in a relaxed way.
We will not only tell you the stories about the wines you bring along, but we will also tell you about anecdotes from the daily life of a winegrower.

Just like a real excursion, this event follows a journey through the entire restaurant. So the scenery changes from the big oak table to Gurtner's library to the crowning finale in the kitchen.

The wine region and the wineries
The Terra Alta wine region in south-west Catalonia has the world's largest area under Grenache cultivation. The climate with plenty of sunshine, cold winters, hot summers and little rainfall, as well as the calcareous soils, favour the growth of this grape variety. Grenache impresses with its expression and elegance. LAFOU Celler, founded in 2007 by Ramon Roqueta Segalés, honours both the grape variety and the Terra Alta region. The Vins de Relat winery also produces fresh, modern wines from the traditional grape variety and delights wine lovers with its history.
