It was Franz and Judith Weber who pulled off the miracle and saved the fairytale Giessbach Castle from demolition. In 1982, Franz Weber pulled out all the stops to preserve the historic site at the Giessbach Falls. His "Giessbach for the Swiss people" campaign saved a hotel jewel that is unrivalled in Switzerland.
