With 12 Recipes Through the Year

This little cookery book is a very personal greeting from Giessbach and is intended to accompany you through the twelve months of the year. We hope that while preparing, cooking and discovering the recipes, you will always be reminded of the unique Giessbach paradise on Lake Brienz. Most of the creations come from Giessbach chef Lukas Stalder and are taken from the vegetarian section of our culinary offering. Some of the other recipes are my own. All twelve recipes follow the important principle of being simple.

The turbulent times we are living through teach us to pause and focus on our home, on our homeland, Switzerland. And Giessbach is a unique piece of Swiss homeland and nature - a place of happiness and joy - that must be preserved.

With this in mind, we hope you enjoy cooking and savouring, and from the bottom of our hearts we say: “See you at Giessbach!”
