The Grandhotel Giessbach is supported by the region and pays respect to this heritage. 
Many farmers and local producers contribute with their products to the well-being of the guests. The herbs come from the hotel's own garden, the vegetables whenever possible from the hotel's own fields or from the historic garden sheds, and even the honey is produced by the Giessbach bees and can also be purchased. Everything is organic, of course. Our beekeeper takes care of 20 bee colonies and produces about 400kg of honey from the Giessbach Domaine. The very peaceful autochthonous Swiss species of Carnica bee has found a home at the Giessbach.
