Nicole Bernegger — that is an eight-piece soul family, an outstanding voice, a distinctive band. It is Americana Soul made in Switzerland. On November 21, “Alchemy”, the third album released on the band’s own label, came out: 10 tracks ranging from powerful ballads to earthy Americana tunes, dreamy soundscapes and grooving soul stompers, all wrapped in a live-sounding 60s/70s vibe while remaining firmly rooted in the here and now. “Alchemy” is cinema for the ears and the perfect soundtrack to give everyday life a golden glow — on record and live on stage.

As a singer and songwriter, Nicole Bernegger already has an impressive career behind her. She is regarded as one of the most powerful soul voices, has won several awards, achieved gold record status, appeared on television, and played countless concerts. And yet she has never been closer to herself than now, as Nicole Bernegger has become synonymous with an eight-piece soul family.

Today, Nicole Bernegger are:
Nicole Bernegger (lead vocals), Marco Nenniger (bass), Florian Haas Schneider (drums), Stefan Strittmatter (guitar), Yves de Groot (Wurlitzer/Hammond), Nza Smith (backing vocals), Steffi Klär (backing vocals) and Stu Huber (sound, stage design) — musicians who have been active in the Basel music scene for years and are known far beyond cantonal borders for their work with acts such as La Nefera, Kings Elliot, Ilira, Audiodope, Sandro P, Famara, Fido or Universe by Ear.

For day visitors: free parking is available for concert attendees at the Forest Parking Lot (400 m above the hotel) – no ticket required.
