Sylphe received the Audience Award for her portrayal of Edith Piaf in Spatz und Engel at the Gandersheimer Domfestspiele in Germany. For eighteen years she has dedicated herself to interpreting the chansons of this iconic artist.

Her concert program L’AUTRE PIAF presents a selection of wonderful and lesser-known Piaf chansons, many of which hold surprising discoveries.

Accompanied by Roberto Vacca from Naples on accordion and Nicolas Venner from Metz on piano, the emotionally expressive Sylphe performs, among others, Les amants d’un jour, Bravo pour le clown, Mon manège à moi, L’homme à la moto, Je m’en fous pas mal… She also shares fascinating anecdotes from Piaf’s life in the form of direct quotations taken from her autobiography and from the biography written by her half-sister Simone Berteaut.

Of course, the greatest worldwide hits are not to be missed.
