A richly coloured octet programme brings together grand opera and symphonic works in refined arrangements: Rossini’s sparkling overture to The Barber of Seville opens with wit and brilliance, followed by Strauss’ shimmering Rosenkavalier Suite full of waltz-like elegance. Mozart’s dramatic Symphony in G minor K. 550 unfolds intense expression, while Schubert’s German Dances add charming lightness. The colourful finale is Borodin’s exhilarating Polovtsian Dances – an evening full of elegance, energy, and chamber-musical finesse.

The ‹klang› Autumn Trilogy has become a tradition, as essential as the colourful autumn leaves. Over the years, numerous renowned musicians have performed, and this year, for the first time, the «Swiss Octet», featuring musicians from the Tonhalle Zurich, the Zurich Opera House, and other distinguished orchestras, as well as «Das Musenkuss-Kabinett», will take the stage. You can look forward to three varied and inspiring concerts.
