For the fourth time already we can welcome the musicians of the Musikgesellschaft Oberried on our sun terrace!

They are 21 active members and have been under the direction of Stefan Bernhard since August 2020. Their small, colourful group, aged between 16 and 65, shares the joy of making music together. The spring festival with concert and theatre, as well as the Lentifest in summer, are among the main attractions in their annual programme, where a cosy and social get-together is paramount. With a broad repertoire ranging from polkas, waltzes and marches to modern and concertante entertainment music, they attract music enthusiasts from the region to their village. The concert at Giessbach marks the end of their annual musical programme.

You can expect hearty brass band music combined with a marvellous view of the lake and waterfall!

The concert will only take place in dry, fine weather.
No booking required, free admission.



Arrival
By car
Take the Brienz-Giessbach exit, then follow the signs in the direction of Axalp. Please park your car in the forest car park (parking fee CHF 10.00 per car).
100% of the parking fee goes to the Foundation and thus to the Nature Park.

By boat
from Interlaken Ost or from Brienz to the "Giessbach See" boat landing stage and then take the funicular railway to the Grandhotel.

by train & post bus
By train to Brienz railway station, by postbus in the direction of Axalp, bus stop "Abzweigung Giessbach". From there it is a 15-minute walk to the hotel.
