Please select a menu for each person. When you complete your booking, you will pay for these menus in advance and, at the same time, reserve your own Metzgete hut for the specified number of people.
Drinks, additional dishes and desserts are not included in the booking price. You can order these directly at the hut on the evening itself and pay for them on the spot.
Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive your personal hut ticket by email. Please present this in printed or digital form upon arrival.

From the Bären tradition: the meat platter
From 16 to 29 October 2026, every Tuesday to Saturday, we’re bringing a well-known Zug autumn tradition to our huts: the Metzgete from the former Bären kitchen.
For a short time, the Fondue Hütten Zug will become the Metzgete Hütten Zug.
We’ll be serving up a hearty meat platter with all the trimmings – robustly prepared, boldly seasoned and perfect for cosy get-togethers with friends, family or work colleagues.
Inspired by old recipe notes from the Bären kitchen, we’re reviving the Metzgete in our little hut village next to the Park Hotel: down-to-earth, convivial and right in the heart of Zug.
And perhaps we’ll see you beforehand at the aigu Restaurant & Bar – where our team puts their heart and soul into creating new culinary highlights all year round.

Choose on the day:
Green salad with house dressing, cress quark and bread
or
beef stock with herb pancakes and vegetable brunoise with bread
Followed by a hearty main course:
A platter of cold cuts with black pudding and liver sausage, Schüblig, spare ribs, bacon, sauerkraut, dried beans, parsley potatoes and apple compote
and for those who fancy it: (not included in the set menu price)
apple crumble cake at CHF 8.50 per person

No need to miss out on the Metzgete.
Individual guests within the group can, of course, order a vegetarian or vegan dish from the aigu menu. For our younger guests (up to 10 years old), we also offer a separate children’s menu.
The Metzgete is our main offering in the huts. Vegetarian and vegan
alternatives are therefore available for a maximum of two people per hut.
