Saturday mornings is bread time at Brot Zeit! And our bakers take time out for you!

You start off with a short introduction, in which you can learn from our bakers how they select the finest ingredients for their bread by hand, applying a number of key criteria, to ensure that the flavour of their bread is unparalleled. It's then time to move on to make the dough. It goes without saying that we don't want to keep even the little secrets from you - secrets that will make your bread so light and airy that it will rise like the morning sun rising over our bakery.

In a brief digression while the dough rests, our confectioners will show you how our popular Brot Zeit pralines are made. To try one is to want another!

Back in the bakery, we slide the bread into the wood-fired oven, where its crust acquires its uncomparable flavour. Thus, at lunchtime you can harvest the well-earned fruits of your labour and enjoy your self-baked bread with friends and family in our café, or take it home with you.
