Take the world's highest 3S cable car to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise at 3,883 metres. From the summit viewing platform, you have a breathtaking view of 38 four-thousand-metre peaks and 14 glaciers, before discovering a magical world of eternal ice in the Glacier Palace.

The panorama ranges from the largest glaciers in the Alps to the peaks of Switzerland, France and Italy - and Mont Blanc seems close enough to touch. You are now close to the Italian border and can see the "endearing backside" of the famous Matterhorn. Far below, at the foot of the mountain, lies the largest year-round ski area in Europe, which is open 365 days a year.
