Harder Kulm - Top of Interlaken
Harder Kulm - Top of Interlaken
In just ten minutes, the Panoramabahn takes visitors from Interlaken to its local mountain, the Harder Kulm.
For over a century, the funicular railway has been climbing 735 metres in altitude to the Harder Kulm at 1,322 metres above sea level. The journey begins near Interlaken Ost railway station, winds its way through a tranquil forest and passes the wildlife park. From the mountain station, it is only a five-minute walk to the charming restaurant, which can be recognised by its turrets and red tiled roof.
Next to the restaurant is the "Two Lakes Bridge", an airy viewing platform with a glass floor section. From here, guests have a breathtaking view of Lake Brienz and Lake Thun as well as the famous peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
