Let the wind blow around your nose and enjoy the view - first in the open funicular railway, which still rumbles and rumbles just as it did 130 years ago, then on the roof terrace of the futuristic CabriO cable car.

The open wooden carriages have been taking guests from Stans to the Stanserhorn since 1893. From the middle station, the CabriO with its open-air roof deck is the main attraction. In the two-storey panoramic cabin, you glide past the supporting masts free of ropes and enjoy the headwind and the sweeping views.

At the summit, a circular route leads to friendly rangers who can help you identify flowers and mountain peaks. Halfway to the summit, lively marmots await, which are a favourite with younger visitors. Right next to the mountain station, the revolving restaurant provides a delicious end to the experience.
