You have the option of reserving a seat on the cogwheel railway. Reservation of a seat is not obligatory, but it is strongly recommended on days with a high number of guests in order to avoid waiting times. Please check the timetable here.

Reductions (GA, Half-Fare travelcard, SwissTravelPass) must be showed at the turnstile, please have the IDs ready. Travel with a discounted ticket but without valid discount (GA, Half-Fare, Swiss Travel Pass) is considered as dodgy driving and is sanctioned accordingly. 

The ticket can be used the day selected, after that it is no longer valid.
