The Japanese tea ceremony, also called the Way of Tea (chado), satisfies the human need for balance and inner peace. A true tea master is able to create an air of contemplation and intense focus in a simple tearoom by meditating upon an image, by exploring the feel of a tea bowl, by experiencing the taste of green tea. In combination, the result is a unique appeal to the senses, and an impressive experience.
In the authentic Japanese tea room you will take part in a Japanese tea ceremony under the guidance of Teamaster Soyu Mukai.
ImportantA voucher purchased here is not a ticket. Participation in a regular Japanese tea ceremony (Sundays) requires a ticket purchased via rietberg.ch/tickets for a certain date. The voucher code can be redeemed directly with this online ticket purchase.
