Workshop: Jogakbo – Korean Patchwork
Samstag, 12.04.2025 09:00 Uhr
On the exhibition “Hallyu! The Korean Wave”
Craft your own Korean patchwork wrapping cloth jogakbo under the guidance of artist Seika Lee Klein. Jogakbo – traditional Korean patchwork cloths – were originally used for wrapping and storage. Today they are also appreciated for their colorfulness and variety as artistic decoration.
During the workshop, you will learn a stitching and sewing technique from artist Seika Lee Klein that can be used to make a transparent, wrap-around bojagi from Korean fabrics. Later, you can then enjoy your creation at home – whether as a utility item, decorative element or work of art.
