Iced Japanese teas – With Länggass Tea

Japanese tea offers a fascinating variety of flavors, brewing methods, and traditions. This workshop provides an insight into the history and culture of tea in Japan and invites you to explore the various facets of the Japanese tea ceremony.
We will focus on tasting various cold-brewed ‘Mizudashi’ teas. Step by step, we will discover their different flavor profiles and immerse ourselves in the wide spectrum of aromas found in Japanese teas. The hands-on portion focuses on the traditional “Koridashi” preparation method: In small groups, we’ll prepare our own Sencha over ice and learn the basics of the process. We’ll also enjoy a Japanese sweet treat.
