Giessbach Sessions in small format with Nils Burri

We are very happy to welcome Nils Burri at the first Giessbach Sessions in small format. The session is planned to take place in the Salon Davinet for 90 guests. Definitely an event not to be missed in early 2024!

Nils Burri
Nils Burri is a gifted live musician who captivates the audience at his shows from the first note and doesn't let go until the last. His distinctive voice is unmistakable and resonates for a long time. Nils plays over 120 shows a year all over Switzerland and in nearby countries. He proves impressively that his music works just as well at open-air festivals like the Gurtenfestival in Bern or the Moon & Stars Festival in Locarno as it does in clubs. And as support for Olly Murs and Donovan Frankenreiter, he has shown that he doesn't have to hide from the big names either.

At some point, the dream of making it as an ice hockey player was over. Injuries put a spanner in the works. But Nils Burri didn't let that get him down, he swapped his hockey stick for a guitar, the ice rink for the big and small concert stages and started his career as a singer-songwriter. Within a very short time and thanks to the generous support of YouTube videos, he taught himself how to play the guitar and keyboard, wrote his first songs and began playing shows early on. Today, according to Philippe Cornu (Head of Events at Gadget, the largest concert and festival organiser and leading full-service agency in the Swiss music and event industry), he is one of the most talented singer-songwriters in Switzerland.
