The Excelsior Stollen has a cherished tradition, eagerly awaited each year by the hotel’s staff. For generations, the secret recipe has been safely kept in the hotel’s safe. Every September, Georg Plesser, the hotel’s Managing Director, retrieves it and entrusts it to the in-house pâtisserie. Charles Roulet, the hotel’s owner, personally attends the tasting of the first stollen of the season to give the official production order.
Crafted with love and only the finest ingredients, each stollen is a true masterpiece.
For every stollen sold, the Excelsior Hotel Ernst donates one euro to a charitable cause.
