JAZZ • SOUL • RHYTHM'N'BLUES • GOSPEL │ Afra Kane released her new album ‘Could We Be Whole’ in March 2024, once again showcasing the musical versatility of the singer-songwriter and pianist. Born in Vicenza, Italy, to Nigerian immigrants and now living in Switzerland, she began her musical training in church and continued it at renowned institutions such as the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève. Her broad musical interests led her to write her own songs, blending her classical training with elements of jazz, soul, R&B, funk and gospel to create a nuanced, cinematic sound.
