Stay in the heart of the Chäserrugg  Area and enjoy the rustic atmosphere at Berggasthaus Stöfeli. The Berggasthaus Stöfeli is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and find peace in the mountain landscape.

In the traditional parlor with a tiled stove, you can end your day with a delicious 3-course-dinner and perhaps a game of cards. The next morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast with cheese, meat and bread from the region.

Arrival & Ticket
As the Berggasthaus Stöfeli is located in the heart of the area,access is via the mountain railways. On your day of arrival, please check in at the Tourist Info Center at Unterwasser train station no later than 3:00 p.m. Please note that later arrival is not possible.

At the Tourist Info Center, you will also receive advice on the appropriate ticket (for pedestrians) and can purchase it directly on site. If you have ordered a ski ticket with your overnight stay, you will also receive it here.
One ascent or descent is already included in every ticket category.

Parking
If you arrive by car, parking spaces are available directly at Unterwasser train station (valley station of the funicular). Please note that parking is subject to a fee and that both a day and night parking permit must be purchased.

You can use the “Parkingpay” app (available in the App Store and Google Play Store).

Rooms
The Berggasthaus offers several multi-bed rooms and two dormitories. Please note that depending on occupancy, different groups may share multi-bed rooms. Shared toilets and showers are located in the hallway.

Rooms are equipped with bed linen. Guests are asked to bring their own towels.

Check-in & Check-out
Rooms are available from 2:00 p.m. On the day of departure, check-out must take place by 10:30 a.m. Additional consumptions as well as the tourist tax can be paid on site. Both cash payments (Swiss francs) and card payments are accepted.

Breakfast & Dinner
Breakfast and dinner are included for guests over 16 years of age. For children aged 6 to 15, dinner can be ordered individually and paid for at check-out. If you have food intolerances or allergies, please inform us before arrival by email at gastro@toggenburgbergbahnen.ch.

If you have food intolerances or allergies, please inform us in advance with a message to gastro@toggenburgbergbahnen.ch. Likewise, if you would like a vegetarian meal, we appreciate being informed before your arrival.

Luggage
Guests must transport their own luggage to the Stöfeli mountain inn.
For this reason, we recommend using a large backpack or a bag with carrying straps..

Dogs
Dogs are only allowed upon request before booking via gastro@toggenburgbergbahnen.ch. A surcharge of CHF 20 per dog applies, depending on availability and room allocation.
