Stay in the Heart of the Chäserrugg Area and Enjoy the Rustic Atmosphere at Berggasthaus StöfeliThe Berggasthaus Stöfeli is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and find peace in the mountain landscape.

In the traditional parlor with a tiled stove, you can end your day with a delicious 3-course-dinner and perhaps a game of cards. The next morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast with cheese, meat, and bread from the region.

Arrival & Tickets
Since the Berggasthaus Stöfeli is located in the middle of the Chäserrugg area, arrival is only possible via the mountain railways. Please check in at the Tourist Info Center at Unterwasser train station by no later than 3:00 PM on the day of your arrival. Please note that later arrivals are not possible!

At the Tourist Info Center, you will also receive advice on the appropriate pedestrian ticket, which you can purchase directly on-site. If you have pre-ordered a ski pass with your accommodation, you will receive it there as well.

Rooms
The Berggasthaus offers several shared rooms and two dormitory-style accommodations. Please note that depending on occupancy, different groups may share the same shared rooms.
All rooms are equipped with bed linen, but guests are kindly requested to bring their own towels.

Check-in & Check-out
Rooms are available from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, check-out must be completed by 10:30 AM. Any additional consumption and the tourist tax can also be settled at that time.

Breakfast & Dinner
Breakfast and dinner are included for guests over the age of 16. For children aged 6 to 15, dinner can be ordered separately and paid for at check-out.

If you have food intolerances or allergies, please inform us in advance with a message to gastro@toggenburgbergbahnen.ch. Likewise, if you would like a vegetarian meal, we appreciate being informed before your arrival.

Luggage
Guests must carry their luggage to the Berggasthaus themselves. For this reason, we recommend using a large backpack or a bag with a shoulder strap.

Dogs
If you would like to bring your dog with you, please send an enquiry to gastro@toggenburgbergbahnen.ch before booking. Generally it is possible for an extra charge of CHF 20 per dog, however, it depends on the capacities and room allocations.
